Important Information: If you are interested in signing up, PLEASE be sure to get your name on the list! This is imperative for planning purposes. Sign up will be floating around the silent auction area the night of the event.
Kalamazoo area guests leave the Cheff Center in luxury transportation to Holland (Michigan, that is).
Once in Holland, start your Dutch Derby adventure by boarding The Holland Princess. Take an old-fashioned paddlewheel boat ride down the mighty Macatawa River while enjoying mint juleps and Derby Day appetizers to the strains of "My Old Kentucky Home". Gaze at some of Holland's elegant lakeside homes on your way to disembarking at the site of the Dutch Derby, a horse farm and Northern plantation which rivals the best that Louisville has to offer. Your host is Kentucky Colonel Holly Palmer Cheff. Enjoy an evening of Derby traditions, including a sumptuous feast of traditional Derby fare, some "unusual" races (yes, you have a chance to bet on the winners!), some games (with prizes!) and some surprises (HINT: DON'T wear a Derby Day hat to this party).
