One-Time Events

To support our community, Cheff Center is periodically offering equine facilitated self-care groups focused on a variety of topics.

Upcoming Events: Getting through the holidays - self care workshop

2025 has been a busy year! For many of us so many things have happened some of them good and some of them challenging. The holidays are coming up, and while that is a time filled with joyful expectations, It can also be a time of added stress. If you are grieving any loss, it can be additionally difficult.

Once again, this year, the Cheff Center Is offering a woman's self-care group. Our gathering will take place for this holiday season Monday, December 15th from 5-7 pm.

This group will allow participants to experience time for self-care--There will be opportunities for hands-on time with horses, with optional art and journaling activities. We'll talk about what it means to take care of ourselves during the holidays. How do we celebrate,  if we choose to , in a way that is meaningful and not overwhelming with stress!

Previous participants have found this group, a breath of fresh air… That is the opportunity to take a couple hours out of their busy life and focus on themselves, having fun, finding joy, and recognizing that caring for themselves is important.

No horse experience is required, and all work will be done on the ground. That is activities with horses will be unmounted with no riding.

This group is appropriate for ages 17 and up. Please call the Cheff Center with questions or follow the link to register.

The group will be facilitated by CHA/PATH, certified instructors, equine specialists, and a mental health professional.
