Summer Camps

In the best interests of our clients, volunteers, and staff, Cheff has decided to CANCEL our 2020 Summer Camps. While we are extremely disappointed to be missing out on camp, we feel strongly that this is the right decision to make for everyone’s health and safety. We will be altering our summer schedule to run modified Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy programs. Please contact us if you’d be interested in joining us!

Cheff offers several camp options tailor made to suit various clientele.

Cheff camp

This half day camp is open to anyone with special learning needs.  Campers will spend their days doing horse related activities and learning to ride.  The week will end with a mini “horse show” so campers can show off what they’ve learned for family and friends!

Read & Ride

Campers work all week on improving reading fluency.  Students use the time they have at the Cheff Center to play phonics games with the horses, read to therapy dogs, participate in brain gym activities and in general, have a great time.

*At this time, Read & Ride Roundup is being put on in conjunction with Gull Lake Schools and is mostly limited to children who have been hand selected by faculty at GLCS. If your child is from a different district, but would benefit from being involved, please contact us at Cheff!
